What is FTP?
FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. It is the standard manner by which files are transferred from one computer to another. FTP is the recommended way to upload files to our servers.
FTP also allows you an easy way to change things such as permissions on your files and to create new directories on your site.
What software do I need to use FTP?

How do I login and upload my files with FTP?
Use your favorite ftp program such as CuteFTP, WS_FTP or Fetch and connect to your domain. Instead of logging in as anonymous, use the login and password we have assigned for you. This will give you an FTP connection to your home directory.
All home pages must reside in the directory called /public_html in your account. Please make sure your home page is set to index.htm, index.html, index.php, etc. Most filenames usually end in .html, you can use .htm, but try to use one naming convention only.
I just uploaded something and I am not able to see it! What do I do next?
From time to time, when you've just uploaded a file via FTP, it won't show up on the list of files in your FTP client. Try refreshing.
In CuteFTP: Either press F5 or right click anywhere in the window you'd like to refresh and choose 'refresh' from the menu.
In WS_FTP: Select 'refresh' from the group of buttons on the right hand side of the screen.
In Fetch: press the Reload (or Refresh) button with the Option key pressed.
Will I have unlimited access to update my pages?
You have unlimited access via FTP 24-hours a day. You can create and maintain your web pages on your own computer and upload files to your web site at your convenience.
